Celebrating 1 year membership of the MACH Alliance!
The only member specialising in MACH-approved enterprise solutions for retailers.
We’re happy to announce that it’s been over a year since we joined hands with the MACH Alliance to advocate for open, best-of-breed technology ecosystems.
Actively demonstrating our commitment to the MACH way of operating means a lot to us, since we’ve been pioneering composable architecture and low-code since the development of the Enactor POS and Unified Commerce Platform for nearly 10 years.
Enactor CEO and Founder, Mike Carrell said –
We are excited to be part of a movement that embraces architectural principles that can help retailers to innovate. Anyone who has been following Enactor for some time will know that we have always been extremely passionate about making our architecture, and therefore our solutions as flexible as possible. As the retail market continues to drastically transform, we firmly believe that the MACH approach will be an important way for retailers to change with the times. We think that our flow-based tools implementation of MACH as well as our pedigree in Enterprise Store Systems brings something special to the Alliance.
MACH stands for being
The MACH Alliance represents the belief that interoperability and open architecture of modern software will propel current and future digital experiences.
The reason we feel at home with the MACH Alliance is that we’ve always believed in open, flexible software.
Providing composable services is a core part of Enactor’s philosophy, from pioneering a low-code, flow-based approach to retail software systems. Our mission is to give retailers the freedom to move at speed, essentially opening up an expressway of innovation on both the front and back-end.
The MACH Alliance is a non-profit organisation created to navigate the complex modern technology landscape and Enactor is the only independent software vendor in the group specialising in enterprise retail solutions. We’re a certified MACH Alliance member, meeting the standards set by the organisation to deliver best-of-breed technologies that are scalable, pluggable and reusable.
This is why we’re best suited for large international retailers looking for a solution that enables agility, new customer journeys and an enhanced in-store experience, like Lindex.
Annika Elfstrom, Lindex CIO, had this to say –
Enactor is the perfect solution to help fulfil Lindex’s goals of achieving a new, agile way of working with our store systems. By training our internal IT teams to build and extend applications for themselves using the Enactor Microservices Tools, Estate Manager and enabling them to own the user experience with the React UI, we will be in a much stronger position to respond to industry changes quickly, keeping us ahead of the curve at all times.
