Enactor has joined the International Forecourt Standards Forum (IFSF) as a Gold Technical Associate Member.

IFSF sets the vendor-neutral technology standards that keep fuel and convenience retail systems talking to each other, from point of sale to EV charging, payments to loyalty. Membership gives us a seat in the working groups shaping those standards, not just a badge.

It’s a natural fit. Enactor customers already choose their own hardware, integrations, and deployment model rather than being locked into ours. IFSF standards work the same way: reducing proprietary lock-in and giving fuel and convenience retailers the freedom to build the estate that suits them.

Fuel retailers are dealing with more complexity than most people realise: multiple fuel types, EV charging rolling in alongside pumps, payment and loyalty systems that all need to talk to each other, and a forecourt environment that changes faster than most vendor roadmaps can keep up with. Most platforms make you wait for the vendor to catch up. Enactor doesn’t. Our customers configure their own workflows and integrations rather than being boxed in by ours, and that’s exactly the flexibility fuel and convenience retailers need right now. Joining IFSF as a Gold Technical Associate means we’re helping shape the standards this industry runs on, not just building to them.
