Enactor and El Palacio de Hierro announce a long-term partnership

Enactor and Mexico’s leading luxury & department store Retailer, El Palacio De Hierro, are delighted to announce their long-term partnership by sharing that a successful Pilot has taken place in one of their Mexico City stores. The end-goal of Enactor & El Palacio de Hierro’s collaboration is to make sure that the department store can continue delivering the best shopping experience to their customers by offering frictionless checkout experience, regardless of the customer’s choice of transaction or the department where they buy.

This successful initiative represents a milestone in El Palacio de Hierro’s leading digital transformation journey and general business expansion. In this project El Palacio de Hierro have embraced the Enactor Enterprise model of taking Enactor’s leading POS & Unified Commerce platform and using their internal teams to make it their own. This model will allow El Palacio de Hierro to be much more responsive and agile to their business needs in the future, while the company strengthens their omnichannel infrastructure.

With the support of Enactor, El Palacio’s team have adopted the skills to iteratively evolve their store system platform. This has included doing their own developments in Enactor’s Low-code Toolkit and React JS UI as well as integration and configuration of the Enactor product. This successful beginning represents a big win for El Palacio de Hierro, not only in continuing their trajectory as a genuinely industry-leading Retailer but also one that is sophisticated with store technology. This modernisation has seen Enactor’s modern platform deployed in the AWS cloud environment. This will help El Palacio de Hierro to scale and deploy more quickly over the long term.
