Enactor is celebrating Girls in ICT Day!
Girls in ICT day is a United Nations event to support technology education and skills training, and encourage more girls and young women to actively pursue careers in STEM. Furthermore there is a 17% gap in internet access between girls & boys globally – a void that we should all be aware of and must be filled.
António Guterres – Secretary-General of the United Nations – “International Girls in ICT Day aims to inspire a global movement to increase the representation of girls and women in technology. Today, let’s recommit to the goal of equal access for young women and girls to opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math.”
Enactor salutes the many women in our technology business, who contribute a huge amount day in day out in our US, UK and Sri Lanka offices. Well done all!
Jules Carrell – Enterprise Sales Lead – “The women we work with are absolutely essential to today’s Enactor and have been critical to our COVID response strategy. We are happy to say that at Enactor we are hiring women into tech roles at a faster rate than ever before – the candidates coming our way are extremely strong. There is no question that the female contingent are essential to today’s Enactor and, on a wider scale, are powering the digital world we live in today!”
