I’m really excited to see the start of more long term thinking and strategic planning from retailers looking to remain relevant and competitive in a post pandemic market.
There’s no doubt in my mind that modern retail solutions are going to play a key role in retailers’ survival over the next decade. Stores that still rely on their legacy system will struggle to deliver a seamless omnichannel shopping proposition quickly and efficiently. The new era will require new skills, flexible infrastructures, next gen technologies and importantly new platforms to enable global retailers to take charge of their digital destiny and become less reliant on 3rd parties if they want to.
